Signed the contract award by the Mayor Erimanthou and representatives of the concessionaire« Ergologic SA “project entitled” Electronic Municipal governance Municipality Erimanthou ‘budget 200.000 €, which is funded by ESPA Ministry of Interior, Decentralization and e-Governance.
The project objective is to develop an information system Republic through which the residents of the municipality will be able to participate more in managing local municipal affairs, expressing opinions and needs. It will enables the municipality to make its decisions and work and (this) assess the mechanism to tackle the problems and requirements of citizens.
addition, the system will collect, portrays will manage information and data of the municipality in individuals with disabilities, while providing digital services to facilitate their convenience of City services, moving and revealing the problems of their daily lives.
As said Mayor Erimanthou, “the project aims to increase the effectiveness of the City for the benefit of efficient local governance and citizen service, and improve customer of the municipal services of persons with disabilities.
The system will allow for more active participation and involvement of our citizens in local public affairs and to better identify and solve the problems of our country and especially young people who have more possibilities of using the new system. ”
